What more do you want? Or, for that matter, twin Pomeranian—star studded and beautiful in their own right. And did I mention shopping? Just what any cute Pomeranian would love. That and boating—it’s a beach town, after all.
Susan Marie Chapman’s picture book Keeping Up With the Pomeranians is a sweet glimpse into a day in the life of two Pomeranians – twins Sugar and Cookie, also known as Sassy and Classy. It’s hard to tell which is which, but they’re both gorgeous, as the bright, bold and colorful illustrations will prove. And both seem to have a small dose of sass and class. The two are iconic models, but they don’t let fame deter them from being gentle and naturally adorable. After introducing the dogs, the author walks the reader through a daily routine that involves lounging on the beach, going to the spa, shopping, eating out, and more. There’s even a drag queen posing with the two pomeranians.

With everything the two Pomeranians pack into a day, from people-watching to fine dining, it’s a tiring task to keep up with them. I love the photos that accompany each brief description of what the two active stars love to do. This is a fun book, a gentle reminder of two special dogs.”
