Firefighters from several departments battled a rapid fire that ravaged an Endicott home.

The fire at 103 Parsons Avenue was reported on Tuesday around 8 a.m.

Neighbors said they believed several people from the same family lived in the two-and-a-half-story house.

A few minutes after the report of the fire, flames invaded the front part of the building.

A man and a woman were seen on stretchers being evaluated by medics. People nearby said they believed a boy suffered burns to his back.

Firefighters came out with a person who had been trapped inside the house.

Parsons Avenue was closed between Broad Street and Florence Street due to firefighting operations.
