The spoiled Crufts pooch gets his very own BODYGUARD after the owner made her £500,000 diamond collar

A DOG lover has created a diamond-studded collar worth more than £500,000 for her pooch.

Jeweler Nathalie Knauf, 37, crafted the bespoke neckpiece herself from 91 flawless 15-carat diamonds.

Her four-year-old English Pomeranian, Polly, wears it to special occasions – including this week at the annual Crufts dog show.

Nathalie said, “I wanted to create something that people have never seen before, something that models would love to wear and look at their dog and think, ‘Isn’t that beautiful?’.

“We love our dogs so much, why not treat them?

“It’s a lot of money, but I think they’re always worth it, right?

“Dogs deserve to look as beautiful as their owners.

“That’s exactly why I wanted to show the world these wonderful stones.”

Nathalie, from Soho in central London, added: “I’m not worried about anyone trying to steal it because we have 24/7 security.

“We have a big bodyguard and a team that goes with us everywhere.

“She’s very well protected.
