Remember that mega-mansion in French Normandy in Hidden Hills that Jeffree Star listed for $20 million last year?
He’s since dropped the request — a couple of times.
The 19,549-square-foot space with seven bedrooms, 13 bathrooms, a basement speakeasy bar and a two-story gym is now available for $15.5 million.
That’s about 6% more than the $14.58 million the CEO of Jeffree Star Cosmetics paid for the house in December 2019.
Located at the end of a cul-de-sac in the exclusive Ashley Ridge section of the Horseman’s Enclave, it shares nearly 3 acres of land with two guest houses, a 10-car garage and a barn accessed via a separate driveway.
The main house exudes luxury as soon as it opens at the grand entrance with its imperial staircase. The living area features rich wall coverings, chandeliers and ceiling treatments.
Highlights include the formal living room, dining room and gourmet kitchen with two islands. There is a wine cellar, home cinema, billiard room and spa.
A glass elevator leads to the master suite’s multiple rooms, two bathrooms and two closets. One of these cabinets has a bank vault door. The suite also offers direct access to the gym with changing rooms, jacuzzi and sauna.
Two offices complement the equipment.
Outside there is a swimming pool with spa, two cabana areas, a fire pit and two BBQ areas.
Aaron Kirman of the Aaron Kirman Group at Compass has the listing.
When the property first went on the market in June 2021, Star took to social media, citing the death of his beloved Pomeranian and splitting from boyfriend Nathan Schwandt as reasons for the sale.
“It’s just not for me anymore,” he said. “It’s time to move on, it’s time to grow and I don’t think I can do this.”
Star planned to leave the West Coast for Wyoming to focus on his mental health. In December 2020, Dirt.com reported he had purchased a 70-acre ranch that was listed for $1.1 million.
There is a Facebook page dedicated to Star Yak Ranch where he posts photos of his Tibetan yak herd.
