4thth of July fireworks are back

A good sign for things to come is the return of the 4thth from July fireworks to New Hampshire. WHDH.com reports that some communities will be bringing back the fireworks this year. Most of the fireworks were canceled last year due to COVID-19 restrictions. That didn’t stop individuals from launching the fireworks. I’ve seen a lot from my Rochester apartment window and to be honest some of the private displays were pretty awesome, although they probably weren’t too secure.

Portsmouth fireworks

Portsmouth will host the festivities on July 3rd, according to WHDH.comapprox with a rain date of July 5thth. Things are going to be very different this year than they have been in previous years as there won’t be any other entertainment, food, or other vendors on the street.

Dover will look different too

The show will continue in Dover, but it will be a little different there too. The location is moved to a different area that allows for a good view from 360-degree angles. According to WHDH.com, the Dover Recreation Director says, “We typically see between 8,000 and 10,000 people in downtown Dover on a typical July 4th. We needed a place where enough people could spread out. This place allows many people to see it from their neighborhood as well, so they can hang out with their neighbors and safely have smaller group settings outdoors. “Stay tuned for more information on different locations and changing locations. Happy 4th of July! I can’t wait to see the fireworks.
