LONDON, May 10 (Reuters) – Eastbound gas flows via the Yamal-Europe pipeline from Germany to Poland surged on Tuesday, data from the Gascade pipeline operator showed.
Exit flows at the Mallnow metering point on the German border increased to 11,297,464 kilowatt hours per hour (kWh/h) from 792,085 kWh/h the previous day, the data showed. Continue reading
The Yamal-Europe pipeline, which traverses Belarus, Poland and Germany, has been operating mostly in reverse mode since December, transporting gas from Germany east to Poland.

Nominations for Russian gas to Slovakia through Ukraine via the Velke Kapusany border point fell slightly on Tuesday to 983,721 megawatt hours (MWh) per day from 996,130 MWh on Monday, data from Slovakian operator TSO Eustream showed.
Russian gas flows to Germany through the Nord Stream 1 pipeline through the Baltic Sea remained stable at 70,746,379 kWh/h compared to 73,242,914 kWh/h at midnight.
Russian gas nominations to Europe via Ukraine totaled 97.5 million cubic meters (mcm) on Tuesday, up from 98.7 mcm the previous day, Interfax news agency reported, citing data from Ukraine’s gas pipeline operator.
